Me

Krystan Norris, Los Angeles, CA University of Maryland Graphic Communications B.A.

A Maryland native, I’m a graphic designer and artist based in the city of Los Angeles. If it wasn’t obvious, I’m in love with colors and complex shapes (something living in Southern California has made me further appreciate). My specialties in the field include logo design, web and digital advertisements, illustration, and website design. I’m adept in the majority of Adobe Creative Cloud softwares (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.) as well as ClipStudio Paint and Maya Autodesk.

I created the brand ‘Kotton’ to have my audience fully understand who I am as a graphic designer. The name comes from the soft plant fiber we all know today and represent the beauty of being both malleable, yet organic. Whatever shape you decide to put the fiber in, it’s soft, comforting texture is immediately recognizable. Like cotton, I strive to maintain a brand image that is both easily identifiable, authentic, yet flexible in its possibilities. I’ve never been one to shy away from challenging projects, and welcome each new client with open transparency and full dedication.
